What is a doula?

A doula, or birth sister / keeper, is someone who provides physical, emotional and spiritual support to a birthing woman and her family before, during and after birth.

My wish is for you to leave the experience feeling feeling heard, empowered, supported and nurtured.

As a student herbalist, my packages are designed with my knowledge of herbs and nutrition in mind, offering you a holistic approach to doula support. I am also passionate about weaving ceremony and traditional knowledge into my offerings, taking practices and wisdom from Traditional Chinese, Ayurvedic and Western Herbal Medicine.

For mamas located in Yamba and the Clarence Valley region.

Obligation-Free Meet & Greet

Being a part of anyone's birthing journey is a privilege, therefore it is SO important that you feel comfortable before locking anything in.

I offer all potential clients the opportunity for a 45min to 1hr catch-up at a jointly agreed location or via Zoom. During this time we will discuss what being supported looks like for you, what your dream birth and/or postpartum looks like, and give you the opportunity to ask me any questions to determine if we are the right fit.

Birth and newborn baby

“Just as a woman’s heart knows how and when to pump, her lungs to inhale and her hand to pull back from fire, so she knows when and how to give birth.”
